The Role
The Shipper / Receiver controls what comes in and what goes out. You’ll be responsible for accurately receiving freight, verifying shipments, organizing inventory, building outgoing orders, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
This is a senior warehouse role that requires accountability, organization, and strong attention to detail. You’ll communicate with purchasing, support the warehouse team, and help maintain a safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments against packing lists
- Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and communicate issues promptly
- Put inventory away and stock shelves accurately
- Pick and prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment
- Build safe, organized pallets for outgoing freight
- Maintain organization of warehouse storage and order paperwork
- Open and close the facility, including gates and bay doors
- Move trucks and ensure forklifts are charged
- Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and assist where needed, including pipe yard support and snow removal
Qualifications
- Class 1 forklift experience and valid ticket required
- CSA Green Triangle Grade 1 safety footwear required
- Physically capable of warehouse work including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- Shipping/receiving experience in distribution or wholesale is an asset
- Plumbing product knowledge is an asset but can be taught

Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site warehouse role
- Monday to Friday
- Physical work including lifting, standing, ladder use, and outdoor work year-round
- Some after-hours work required for inventory or special projects
Pay: $31.00-$35.00 per hour
