About Ocean Island Inn
Ocean Island Inn is a unique accommodation experience located in downtown Victoria, welcoming travelers from around the world. We're looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to film and produce short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This is not a social media management role. We're looking for someone who can capture compelling footage, edit engaging content, and deliver advertising creatives for paid campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Film on-site content at Ocean Island Inn and throughout Victoria
- Create short-form video ads for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Edit footage into engaging, performance-focused creatives
- Produce multiple ad variations to test different hooks and messaging
- Add captions, music, sound effects, and simple text overlays as needed
- Collaborate with our marketing team on campaign objectives and creative direction
Requirements:
- Experience filming and editing short-form video content
- Portfolio demonstrating advertising, promotional, or travel-related video work
- Understanding of paid social advertising best practices
- Ability to create strong hooks and maintain viewer attention
- Proficiency with video editing software
- Ability to manage projects from filming through final delivery
