The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dependable, respectful, and compassionate Decedent Transfer Technician & Administrative Support professional who will support safe and timely transfers, assist with administrative and documentation responsibilities, maintain a high standard of care for our decedents, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operations across our teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, attention to detail, and a calm, professional demeanour when working in emotionally sensitive and time-sensitive situations.

This is a full-time hourly position, scheduled for 30–40 hours per week based on operational needs, with a wage range of $22–$24 per hour and eligibility for a comprehensive total rewards package through our self-funded benefits program, including:

Duties may include:
- Complete required documentation and transfer records accurately for each call, in paper and/or electronic format.
- Coordinate and carry out decedent transfers from hospitals, care homes, hospices, and private residences to the appropriate facility.
- Ensure all transfers are conducted with dignity, respect, and in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, including route planning and timely communication with dispatch and operations as needed.
- Inspect and maintain transfer vehicles and equipment to ensure they are clean, organized, fueled, properly stocked, and in safe operating condition.
- Monitor and report maintenance needs, mechanical issues, damage, and service requirements promptly, and assist with routine vehicle servicing as needed.
- Support operations across the Langford location and affiliated brands.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and case file preparation.
- Support documentation for registrations, permits, and internal tracking processes.
- Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide operational support across locations and assist with general facility responsibilities as required.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Compassionate, dependable, and service-driven approach

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (additional languages an asset)
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including lifting, transferring, and moving decedents with the use of stretchers, lifts, and other transfer equipment as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
