Key Responsibilities
As the Personal Lines Advisor, you will report to the Regional Manager and provide professional, client-focused insurance guidance while managing and growing a Personal Lines book of business.
Client Relationship Management & Advisory
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing personalized insurance advice tailored to their needs.
- Conduct thorough coverage reviews and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure clients are adequately protected.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve individual sales and growth targets by identifying new opportunities and actively prospecting leads.
- Promote and cross-sell additional products and services by developing a strong understanding of the organization’s full offering.
Book Management & Retention
- Manage and grow an assigned Personal Lines book of business, ensuring high retention through proactive service and communication.
- Review policies, process renewals, and address cancellations while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Policy Placement & Administration
- Place coverage with appropriate markets and manage all related documentation and day-to-day processing.
- Support Autopac transactions and ensure timely, efficient handling of client requests and policy changes.
Team Collaboration & Service Excellence
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience and maintain high service standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment while supporting overall branch and organizational goals.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
Education & Experience:
- Experience managing a Personal Lines book of business preferred
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset
Technical Skills:
- Current Level 2 or 3 Manitoba Insurance License
- Experience with Autopac and familiarity with EPIC considered an asset
- Exposure to other lines of insurance (Farm, Commercial, etc.) is an asset

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a positive and adaptable attitude
