Established dance studio in Leamington, Ontario is seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our faculty.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to teach one or more evenings per week, with potential opportunities for additional classes, choreography, and private lessons.
The ideal candidate is versatile and experienced in one or more of the following styles:
- Jazz
- Tap
- Ballet
- Hip Hop
- Lyrical / Contemporary
- Musical Theatre
- Acro/Tumbling
Candidates should have a strong passion for teaching, experience working with children ages 3–18, and the ability to create a positive, structured, and inspiring classroom environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes
- Choreograph routines for performances and competitions (if applicable)
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment
- Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and confidence
- Maintain strong classroom management and organization
- Assess student progress throughout the season
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Attend staff meetings, rehearsals, and studio events (including recital and open house)
- Support the overall success and positive culture of the studio
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience teaching dance to children and teens
- Training in one or more dance styles listed above
- Choreography experience is an asset
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate technique and development
- Dance degree and/or professional experience is an asset, but not required
- First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset
