Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Director to join our team in Victoria, BC. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategies to prevent theft and loss across various client sites, ensuring our commitment to security excellence. The Loss Prevention Director will be based in Victoria and play a key part in strengthening our company's reputation for top-tier security services.
Schedule: 7 days a week- Morning, Evening & Night shifts.
Pay range : $18.50-$19.20 per hour+ 4% accrued vacation pay
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee loss prevention strategies tailored to client needs.
- Lead investigations into theft, fraud, and other security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Manage surveillance operations using CCTV and other monitoring systems.
- Train and supervise security personnel on loss prevention techniques.
- Analyze security data to identify vulnerabilities and improve protocols.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Report on loss prevention metrics and initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in law enforcement or corporate security management.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV, and electronic security solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex security data and develop effective strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with law enforcement and clients.
- Relevant certifications in security management or law enforcement preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
