Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Flat Roofing Helper to assist with residential and commercial roofing projects. This role involves supporting experienced roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat roofs. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and roofing trades.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of roofing sites, including moving materials and tools
- Support roofers in installing flat roofing systems according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and caulking guns to aid in roofing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Help with surface preparation, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints or project plans under supervision
- Apply caulking or sealants as needed for waterproofing purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times during roofing operations
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
