Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment across commercial and industrial settings. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction through expert service and maintenance. Candidates with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, appliance repair, or construction are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, valves, and electrical parts
- Install new HVAC systems or upgrades in commercial or industrial environments
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to system failure
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform welding or plumbing tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for accurate installation and repair procedures
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC repair, maintenance, or installation; mechanical knowledge is essential
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, appliance repair, or construction is preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Mechanical aptitude with experience working as a mechanic or in maintenance roles
- Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC/R systems and electrical components
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC or refrigeration are a plus but not mandatory
