POSITION OVERVIEW:
Charmed is seeking skilled, full-time Construction Labourers to join our team on-site in Lethbridge, Alberta. This role is ideal for a highly capable, execution-focused individual who loves translating vision into build-able reality, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity meets craftsmanship.
We've been building storybook playhouses and immersive fairy tale resort spaces for over 10 years. We continue to grow quickly and operate with energy, momentum, and hands-on collaboration. We’re looking for someone who understands Charmed's aesthetic, respects a defined creative vision, and is excited to help bring it to life at a high level .

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
- This role reports directly to the Shop Manager (or designated Foreman).
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
PHYSICAL CONSTRUCTION & FABRICATION
Execute the structural and aesthetic assembly of projects with precision.
- Construction Tasks: Carry out day-to-day building and general labour tasks as instructed by the foreman.
- Assembly: Perform structural assembly, fabrication, preparation, and finishing tasks.
- Tool Operation: Safely utilize a range of tools and equipment, such as power tools and hand tools, to produce required components.
QUALITY CONTROL & LOGISTICS
Ensure every component meets "Charmed" standards at the source.
- Source-Level Quality Control: Perform immediate quality checks on work produced to ensure it aligns with project specifications.
- Shipping & Loading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials and finished projects.
- Field Assembly: Participate in on-site installs and field assembly to ensure the final product is delivered accurately.
SHOP SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
Protect the team and the equipment through meticulous shop standards.
- Shop Cleanliness: Perform daily site maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Material Safety: Ensure all materials are handled and stored safely to prevent damage or injury.
- Safety Procedures: Ensure all safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent with a general knowledge of construction .
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read basic construction/shop drawings and an understanding of the basics for tape measure, speed square, etc.
- Physical Capacity: Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Work Stamina: Physically able to work long hours when needed.
- Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy, with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS:
- Creative Abilities: Artistic ability in painting, sculpting, or modelling is a significant plus.
- Certifications: Any safety or certification tickets (e.g., forklift, fall protection) are helpful.
LOCATION REQUIREMENT:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lethbridge, Alberta. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
