Handyman / Carpenter – Residential & Commercial Renovations
QUAY Construction is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Handyman / Carpenter to join our team.
We specialize in residential and commercial renovations throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and consistently delivers quality craftsmanship.
This position is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who is confident in carpentry, drywall repairs, and general renovation work, and who enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Carpentry and finishing work
- Drywall repairs, patching, and finishing
- General renovation and repair work
- Site preparation and clean-up
- Assisting with residential and commercial renovation projects
- Maintaining a professional and respectful attitude on site
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of construction and renovation experience
- Strong carpentry skills
- Strong drywall repair and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Professional communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle for transportation between project sites
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Own tools and equipment
- Experience working on both residential and commercial renovation projects
- Experience with finishing trades such as painting, trim work, flooring, or cabinetry
Candidates with their own professional tools and equipment may be eligible for additional bonuses and incentives.
