We actively participate in local events, festivals, and community gatherings throughout Brampton and the surrounding areas to connect with residents, educate families about oral health, and introduce new patients to our practice.
Position Overview
We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and professional Community Outreach & Event Representatives to represent Orb Dental at local events, including Carabram, farmers' markets, community festivals, cultural events, and other public gatherings.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, building relationships, and promoting community engagement. Successful candidates will be comfortable approaching attendees, starting conversations, and creating a welcoming experience while representing the Orb Dental brand.
Duties
- Set up and break down event booths efficiently and professionally
- Engage with event attendees by providing product demonstrations and information
- Promote brand awareness through friendly interactions and engaging conversations
- Assist in conducting product demos and explaining features to potential customers
- Collect feedback and answer questions about products or services
- Support sales efforts by encouraging product trials and sign-ups
- Maintain a clean and organized booth area throughout the event
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event operations
- Represent the company positively, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Experience
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and active listening abilities
- Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment during weekend events
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Previous experience with product demos or public speaking is advantageous but not mandatory
Schedule
This is a temporary, event-based position for July 2026.
Required Availability:
- Friday, July 10
- Saturday, July 11
- Sunday, July 12
In addition, candidates must be available for three Saturday community events during July (dates to be confirmed).
Shifts will typically range from 4–8 hours, depending on event schedules and setup requirements.
Applicants must be available for all Carabram event dates and have reliable transportation to event locations throughout Brampton.
This role provides valuable experience in marketing, customer engagement, and event management while offering an energetic work environment dedicated to creating positive brand experiences.
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
