Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging Supervisor to oversee daily packaging operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe packaging processes, maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing environments. The Packaging Supervisor will play a key role in optimizing workflow, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position will be straight afternoon shift (2pm to 10:30pm)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the packaging team to meet production goals.
- Oversee the operation of packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools for troubleshooting and minor repairs of packaging equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies across all packaging operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaging processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Train new team members on proper packaging procedures, safety practices, and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely movement of packaged products for shipment.
- Manage inventory levels of packaging materials and supplies to prevent disruptions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or assembly environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of packaging processes, assembly lines, and warehouse procedures.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively and motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
