Housekeeping / Camp Support
Summary of Position
Our Housekeeping/Camp Support staff provide cleaning and room preparation services for our guests. The role also provides support in peak periods for restaurant staff as well as basic site cleaning, as required.
Key Responsibilities
This includes changing linens, restocking supplies, taking out garbage, and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the site. Once your housekeeping duties are complete, you’ll transition to supporting the kitchen team with tasks as needed, which may include dishwashing, general cleaning, restocking, or light food prep.
- Cleaning all public areas, including moping, dusting, sweeping, and polishing.
- Immediately identifying and reporting maintenance issues in public areas & guest rooms to ensure prompt attention.

- Cleaning of the guestrooms include: making beds and changing sheets as required, dusting, vacuuming, placing furniture to its original position.
- Cleaning of the bathroom inside the guestrooms includes: cleaning all surfaces (horizontal and vertical), regular high touch surface cleaning, cleaning all sinks, taps, vanities, showers and walls, toilets and stalls
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, upholstered furniture and occasionally ceilings and vents.
- Wipe & dust doors, windows, walls and bathroom ceilings.
- Respond to guest requests, concerns and complaints quickly and efficiently in a friendly manner.
- Ensure work areas and equipment are kept functional and orderly at all times, reporting any deficiencies as necessary.
- Handle and report lost and found items.
- Delivering requested items to guestrooms and setting up furniture items in guestrooms whenever required.
- Delivering supplies (i.e. linen sheets, bottle water, room amenities, etc.) to guestroom floors.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Record needed items for ordering.
- Provide support to your team to help achieve our common goals.
- When finished, housekeeping tasks report to the kitchen to assist in cleaning, restocking, portioning, ect.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies.
- Report any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to your supervisor.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Keep proprietary information confidential.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, push, and pull.
- Ability to maintain high levels of performance during 10 hour shifts
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Previous cleaning experience is required.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
- Without assistance, carry, place, move, or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds; get assistance for items beyond 25 pounds.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
