Job Overview
The Project Manager, CFS Capacity Building reports to the Director of Healing & Community Wellness and is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, implementation, and oversight of the Tłıchǫ Government’s Child and Family Services (CFS) Capacity Building Project. The position provides strategic and operational leadership for a multi-year initiative focused on preparing for the exercise of Tłıchǫ jurisdiction in child and family services. Responsibilities include project planning, budget monitoring, stakeholder engagement, supervision of the Project Coordinator, risk management, reporting, and ensuring project activities align with Tłıchǫ priorities, values, legislation, and community needs.
Duties
- Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Indigenous Governance, Health, Law, Project Management, or a related discipline Minimum three years of directly related experience in project management, strategic coordination, child and family services, human services, policy or program development, or complex community-based initiatives, including at least one year of supervisory experience Experience working with Indigenous governments, communities, organizations, or cross cultural environments Lead project planning, implementation, and oversight Lead stakeholder engagement, community consultations, workshops, and meetings Knowledge of project planning, implementation, reporting, budget monitoring, and risk management Understanding of Indigenous governments and community engagement processes Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset Familiarity with the Tłıchǫ language, culture and way of life Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime as required
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
