What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full ownership of custom projects throughout their entire lifecycle—from handover to final close-out
- Act as the vital link between operations, quality control, and shop leadership to ensure complex, multi-stage production phases (e.g., steel fabrication and specialized protective coatings) sync perfectly
- Function as the primary point of contact for large-scale engineering clients
- Manage project changes (scope, schedule, cost) proactively and under tight deadlines
- Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
What You Bring
- Custom manufacturing Project Management experience is critical
- Proven experience managing full project lifecycle within heavy fabrication, industrial manufacturing or high-mix production environments
- Demonstrable success coordinating projects that involve at least two distinct production phases
- Strong ability to read industrial drawings, draft technical reports, and support technical procurement activities
- Exceptional relationship-building skills. You must be an adaptive, collaborative team player who communicates with clarity and respect across both the shop floor and executive offices
