Job: Serger
Payrate: $17.60/hr
Days: Monday to Saturday
Timings: 8AM to 5PM
Duties
- Operate overlock sewing machines to assemble and finish fabric edges with precision and consistency
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting minor issues
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any production challenges promptly
Experience
- Prior experience operating overlock sewing machines is preferred.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with industrial environments and safety protocols
- Attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting are essential skills for success in this role
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain consistent quality standards throughout production shifts
