Description
This role is an in-person position. The Shelving Production Worker will:
- Follow the daily task list of wire shelving cutting
- Load new daily programs in the Tiger Stop to cut wire shelves
- Cut wire shelving according to installer daily task list
- Package the wire shelving according to installation address and location within the home
- Support the preparation and picking of shelving installations jobs
- Complete service requests
- Complete daily cleaning and maintenance on the Tiger Stop
- Complete daily cleaning and maintenance of the pneumatic cutter
- Complete daily cleaning of the wire warehouse
- Perform inventory counts, when required
- Report paperwork discrepancies to supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the cutting programs are loaded correctly
- Ensure daily cut lists are being completed on time
- Ensure accuracy on wire shelving sizes
- Support the picking and preparation of shelving jobs
- Discuss any product or equipment issues with your direct supervisor
- Inspect shelves for quality
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Anything else requested by management
- Support the other team members in different department, if necessary and when possible
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
