We are seeking a Senior Business Integration Analyst to serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, architects, and technical teams in designing, delivering, and supporting end-to-end system integration
Your future duties and responsibilities
- The Business Integration Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to design and deliver end-to-end system integrations.
- This role focuses on translating business requirements into integration solutions, defining data flows, and ensuring seamless connectivity across systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- The analyst leads and facilitates workshops to gather, validate, and refine integration requirements, including API and event-based interfaces.
- They are responsible for identifying integration touchpoints, documenting data mappings at the field level, defining triggers and error-handling mechanisms, and establishing end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing and release.
- In collaboration with architects and solution designers, the Business Integration Analyst helps define integration scope, supports architecture governance milestones, and contributes to effort estimation and delivery planning.
- During implementation, the role supports development teams, coordinates integration environments, and leads integration testing and defect management.
- Post-deployment, they assist with cutover planning and provide hyper-care support.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Strong understanding of system integration patterns (point-to-point, middleware, event-driven architecture)
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP) and event-based integrations
- Proficiency in data mapping and transformation (field-level mapping across systems)
- Knowledge of integration platforms/middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Kafka – or similar)
- Understanding of data flow orchestration, triggers, and dependency management
- Experience defining error handling strategies, including retry, replay, and recovery mechanisms
- Familiarity with integration environments setup and coordination with technical teams
- Hands-on experience with integration testing, test case creation, and defect management tools
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
- Ability to produce technical specifications and traceability documentation
- Exposure to architecture governance processes.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000.00–$125,000.00 This role is a future opportunity
