Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Driver to join our transportation team with Apex Motor Express . The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and cargo efficiently across designated routes. Minimum three years verified commercial driving experience in Canada. No more than three demerit points or conviction on your drivers abstract. G class licence not permitted. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ or DZ licensed commercial trucks for freight delivery and pickup
- Load and unload cargo using PALLET JACK AND TAILGATE or other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage during transportation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or repairs when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse duties or other operational tasks as required
Skills
- Valid AZ/DZ commercial license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
