Duties
- Take customer orders accurately for food and drinks, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations to ensure a welcoming environment
- Handle cashing out customers with proper cash handling procedures, including basic math calculations for bills and tips
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper food handling practices and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of food orders and address any customer concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; experience in bartending or serving is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and tip calculations
- Experience in hospitality roles that involve multitasking between serving, bartending, and cashiering is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
