Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on various products and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. The Test Technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to provide accurate data and insights that contribute to product development and improvement.
Duties
- Perform tests on products and systems according to established procedures and protocols.
- Document test results meticulously, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
- Analyze data from tests to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback on product performance.
- Maintain testing equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Assist in the development of new testing procedures or enhancements to existing methods.
- Follow all safety protocols while conducting tests in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be a new entrant into the workforce, are transitioning to a new career, or the unemployed or underemployed who are entering a new field.
- Candidate must have not previously participated in an NOHFC funded internship in the 2020 Mandate.
- Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
- Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Once hired, the candidate must reside in the Northern Ontario community in which they are employed.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and software tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
