Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, food and beverage knowledge, and a friendly demeanor. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and guest satisfaction
- Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; knowledge of the food industry is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance
