Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure repeat business and positive client relationships
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques and current trends
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Effective upselling skills to recommend products or additional services naturally during appointments
- Excellent communication skills for clear consultation and team collaboration
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar environment is preferred
- Front desk experience is advantageous for managing appointments and client interactions
