Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring all food prep meets quality standards.

- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to kitchen safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes within the food industry.
