We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience with serving or food service is an advantage.
