Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, confident and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals, perform laboratory procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to animal health and well-being, with a focus on client service and professional growth. Weekend and Evening availability is a must!
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Prepare animals for surgery and recovery, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and treatment areas
- Support inventory management by ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
Skills
- Prior laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently perform diagnostic tests
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
