Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator for the Night Shift to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of advanced machinery to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with CNC equipment, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Set up, program, and troubleshoot Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Perform quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to maintain product standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in assembly processes and packaging finished products efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate forklifts when necessary for material handling within the warehouse or production floor.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or press brake machines.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks, and CNC programming.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, blueprint reading, welding, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools such as calipers and hand tools effectively.
- Basic math skills for interpreting measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving forklift operation.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures within manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
