Through visual storytelling, the brand explores themes of purpose-driven self-expression and transformation. Each collection begins with an original abstract painting that serves as the creative blueprint for our proprietary textile prints, refined modern silhouettes, and bold sculptural designs.
We are currently developing our inaugural Archive Collection and are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Design Assistant to contribute to the creation of our debut collection. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of highly detailed garments within an emerging fashion studio space.
Job Overview
Working directly alongside the Founder, the Design Assistant will support the development of the Archive Collection from concept through production. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about craftsmanship, garment construction, and creative problem-solving, and who is eager to gain first-hand experience in the development of a fashion collection inspired by original paintings.
As a member of the studio, you will contribute to both the creative and technical aspects of the collection while learning the processes involved in building an independent fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and developing key details of a garment
- Assisting with garment construction and sample development
- Fabric preparation, cutting, and studio organization
- Hand sewing and garment finishing
- Assisting with pattern preparation and development
- Supporting fittings and documenting garment revisions
- Organizing fabrics, trims, and production materials
- Preparing garments for photography and presentation
- Assisting with creative research and collection development
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Fashion Design or related program
- Possess fundamental sewing and garment construction skills
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Be organized, reliable, and proactive
- Have a genuine interest in luxury fashion and contemporary design
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a studio environment
- Be eager to learn and contribute throughout the collection development process
