Western Modular Homes is a growing modular home manufacturer based in Nisku, Alberta. We build high-quality residential homes in a controlled manufacturing facility environment and are looking to add a dependable, hardworking Skilled Labourer to our production team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the realities of construction work and is willing to do whatever is needed to keep projects moving. The successful candidate must be comfortable with a wide variety of physical labour tasks both inside and outside the facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with various stages of modular home construction
- General labour duties around the manufacturing facility and yard
- Snow removal, site cleanup, garbage removal, and maintaining organized work areas
- Setting up temporary heaters and assisting with winter work conditions
- Assisting with moving, loading, and preparing modular homes for transport
- Material handling and shop organization
- Loading, unloading, and receiving construction materials
- Operating forklifts and zoom booms (if qualified)
- Back framing, blocking, hoarding, and general carpentry support
- Assisting carpenters, supervisors, and other trades as required
- Supporting production schedules and helping wherever needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous construction experience required
- Residential construction experience considered a strong asset
- Basic carpentry skills and ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Comfortable performing physically demanding labour indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Forklift and/or zoom boom experience considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team-first attitude and willingness to jump into different tasks as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, climbing, and working on your feet throughout the day
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
