POSITION OVERVIEW
Force Soccer Academy is dedicated to providing a player-centred development pathway for U6-U20 in a structured, positive, and values-based environment. Reporting to the Technical Director and Director of Operations, the successful candidate will lead and deliver the Club's technical program for 1–2 teams within the Grassroots (U8–U13) or Competitive (U14+) programs, and support other Academy teams and programs as needed. This position is primarily scheduled during evenings and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
· Deliver coaching services per Force standards, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, implementing the club’s philosophy, and ensuring player safety
· Follow the direction and guidance provided by the Club’s Technical Director and Director of Coaching
· Set up and tear down equipment for each session; ensure all equipment is accounted for and in good and safe condition
· Conduct regular on-field and off-field training sessions, and attend all scheduled matches, tournaments, and events throughout the season, ensuring consistent support, leadership, and alignment with the club’s development goals
· Report any issues/problems daily to the Director of Operations, with anything serious being documented via email
· Constantly review, observe, and reflect on areas of improvement and summarize thoughts in notes to share with the Technical Director as areas to advance and improve the Club and its programming
· Oversee identification and selection of players for the team following the club’s guidelines and requirements
· Complete administrative hours a week, which includes but is not limited to communicating with the team on upcoming items, completing player evaluations, generating game sheets, and completing post-game reports
· Attend all necessary club and league meetings, clinics and workshops as part of your commitment to continued growth
· Conduct regular on-field and off-field training sessions
· Understand and focus on holistic player development – technical/tactical, physical, social/emotional and psychological/mental
· Build positive relationships with parents/guardians and coaching peers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of coaching experience at the grassroots level
· Hold a minimum Canada Soccer grassroots workshop certificate (based on age group), and Safe Sport courses
· Canada Soccer C Diploma or Grassroots Diploma is considered an asset
· Strong playing background to demonstrate technique
· Computer proficiency, strong communication, management and leadership skills
· Police Check (Vulnerable Sector Check) required
· Have a valid driver’s license and be able to work in Canada
