We are seeking motivated, high-energy individuals to join our residential painting crew for the 2026 season. This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training that offers opportunities for advancement, increased responsibility, and valuable hands-on work experience. No previous painting experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. This is a production-based role designed for those who prefer physical work and want to be rewarded for their efficiency. As an Engineering-led operation, we utilize a systematic approach to painting that ensures top-tier results and maximum earning potential for our team. Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Executing a rigorous 15-step quality process, including cleaning, power washing, scraping, sanding, and priming.
Application: Applying high-quality paints and stains to residential exteriors, interiors, and decks using professional-grade brushes and rollers.
Efficiency Management: Working within "Budgeted Hours" for each project. Your ability to hit quality standards quickly directly impacts your take-home pay.
Job Site Maintenance: Keeping a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times while respecting the homeowner's property.
Safety Standards: Full compliance with ladder safety and fall protection protocols.
Requirements
Reliable Transportation: Must have your own vehicle to commute to various job sites across Ingersoll and Woodstock daily.
Physical Capability: Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, working outdoors, and standing for full shifts (8–10 hours).
Reliability: A "zero-excuse" policy for attendance. You must be on-site and ready to work every single day.
Technical Aptitude: No prior painting experience required; we provide full technical training. You must be able to follow detailed manual instructions exactly.
Team Mindset: Ability to coordinate effectively within a small, fast-paced crew.
Strong Work Ethic: We're looking for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, take pride in their work, and contribute positively to the team.
Compensation & Hours
Pay Structure: Piece Rate (Budgeted Hours). This system allows you to earn more by working more efficiently.
Rate: $17.60–$25.00+ per hour (effective earnings increase as you develop your skills, improve efficiency, and master our production system).
Schedule: Full-time (35–45 hours/week), Monday to Friday. Saturdays are reserved for weather make-ups if rain cancels a weekday shift.
