Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispensing medications, supporting pharmacists in day-to-day operations, and delivering exceptional service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain patient profiles and records in compliance with regulations
- Prepare blister packs and manage medication inventory
- Process insurance claims and billing
- Support the pharmacy team with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Must be available weekends
- Previous retail pharmacy experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
