The Knox Contracting Group is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of residential homes in Bella Bella, BC.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, leading projects from the front, and experiencing life in one of British Columbia's most unique coastal communities. The initial assignment is 3–4 months, with the potential for ongoing work as we continue expanding our presence in the region.
What You'll Do
- Manage residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain project schedules and keep work progressing efficiently.
- Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard of quality.
- Communicate regularly with our project management team.
- Complete daily site reports and project documentation.
- Identify issues early and develop practical solutions in the field.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, trades, and community partners.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Site Superintendent or Lead Carpenter managing residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of residential building practices and sequencing.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and construction management software.
- Valid driver's licence.
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications are considered assets.
