Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Operational Manager to oversee daily operations at our family fun center facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash handling, scheduling, training, hospitality, and team management. Relocation assistance for successful candidate moving more than 200km, conditions apply.
Duties:
- Manage a strategic team environment while providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage team members to ensure all staff are performing a high level of their duties and obligations withing their role.
- Assure execution of staff training and retraining programs.
- Coordinate corporate events and parties and ensure smooth execution.
-Lead and influence management staff through effective motivation utilizing individual strengths to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum productivity.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Implement strategies for efficient hospitality management.
-Perform HR functions including recruiting, payroll reporting, performance management and team support.
-Promote positive employee relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, upholding operational standards and execution of the performance of management.
-Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses in order to meet annual budgets.
-Responsible for all aspects of the operations including entertainment, food, beverage, equipment and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food handling, hospitality, entertainment, arcade or related field
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Proficient in interviewing techniques and training procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of inventory management practices in a restaurant/ entertainment setting
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred or back ground in administration or accounting.
-Must be able to produce a clear criminal record back ground check.
-Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
