Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, providing essential maintenance and repair services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in furnaces, air conditioners, make-up and exhaust systems, boilers, and appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within construction and maintenance environments, utilizing schematics and technical drawings to ensure optimal system performance. Candidates should have mechanic experience and a solid understanding of HVAC systems to deliver high-quality service and support our clients' comfort and safety needs.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across various settings
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Repair or replace faulty mechanical parts, including boilers, compressors, fans, and thermostats
- Assist with appliance repair related to HVAC equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used
Skills
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Skilled in plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
- Experience working as a mechanic or in maintenance roles within industrial or commercial environments
- Good understanding of safety protocols and building codes relevant to HVAC work
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
