Job Summary
We are seeking a mature, dedicated and enthusiastic front Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing transactions ,booking appointments and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently and efficiently work in a fast-paced retail setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and credit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized and clean store layout, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
- Provide information about products and services to customers
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock management as needed
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience
- Booking/managing appointments (telephone skills needed)
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or waitressing a requirement
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Familiarity with POS systems is required
- Basic computer literacy mandatory (typing accuracy)
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Self sufficient, strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities are essential for success in this role as you will not be micro managed
- Recent Criminal record check will be required upon being hired
