Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team for the closing shift. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and stored. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or hospitality settings, with a strong focus on cleanliness and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment at the end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Ensure all dishes are returned to their proper storage locations in a timely manner
- Run the closing restaurant by completing assigned cleaning duties and ensuring the kitchen and restaurant area is ready for the next day
- Adhere to sanitation standards and safety protocols throughout all duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work independently during the closing shift and follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for closing shifts
- Hospitality or food service experience is considered a plus but not mandatory
