About the Position:
This position is for the before and after school program working with Kindergarten and School Age children.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. You will plan and implement engaging activities and lessons that foster children's growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children
- Observe and assess children's development and progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children's development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
