Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and working with children with diverse needs. This role involves designing and implementing age-appropriate instructional activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Kindergarten Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to support each child's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning
- Use instructional design techniques to tailor lessons for diverse learners, including those with disabilities
- Incorporate LMS tools to track student progress and manage classroom activities
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with special education staff to adapt lessons for students with special needs
- Engage in tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts in math, writing, and other core subjects
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Create a safe, inclusive space that promotes social skills development and emotional well-being
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of LMS platforms and instructional design principles
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans in core subjects such as math and writing
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and patience
- Experience in tutoring or individualized instruction is a plus
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners
Pay: $47,225.43-$114,837.95 per year
