As demand rapidly grows across Canada, we are looking for our first Canadian team member to help establish and grow our Canadian operation.
This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business at an early stage and play a key role in building our Canadian presence.
The Role
This is a hybrid role combining operations, technical preparation, logistics and business development.
You will be responsible for managing our Canadian inventory, preparing client equipment, supporting event deployments and helping grow our client base across Canada.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a future Canadian leadership role as the business expands.
Responsibilities Operations & Logistics
- Manage inventory including Apple Vision Pro devices, iPads and event technology equipment
- Prepare devices for client deployments using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- Configure and quality-check equipment before shipment
- Manage receiving, returns, charging, cleaning and storage procedures
- Coordinate shipping and logistics across Canada
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking records
- Ensure equipment is event-ready at all times
Event Support
- Assist with event deployments and client activations
- Provide technical support when required
- Coordinate equipment delivery and collection
- Support project managers with Canadian events
Business Development
- Develop relationships with Canadian clients, agencies and event organizers
- Identify new opportunities in the Canadian market
- Conduct outreach and follow up on inbound leads
- Support proposals, quotations and client meetings
- Represent Tekk Group at industry events when required
Requirements
- Experience in technology operations, AV, events, logistics or related industries
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and transport equipment when required
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Canadian Passport and ability to travel to Las Vegas office, London office, Sao Paulo office and Barcelona office as and when required.
- Travel flexibility is a must
Nice to Have
- Experience with Apple devices and Apple Business Manager
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- Event technology or AV industry experience
- Sales or business development experience
- Inventory management experience
- Knowledge of experiential marketing and events
