We are looking for a dependable and motivated Level 3 Apprentice or Licensed Automotive Technician 310S. In this role, you will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles while ensuring exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing clean, safe, efficient, and timely service.
We Offer:
- Hybrid pay structure (Hourly wage with a production bonus. No flat-rate).
- Monday to Friday. 8:30am-4:30pm. 40 hours. No weekends. (overtime available).
- 3 weeks vacation (2+1 paid week of holidays between Christmas and New Years).
- 6-Bay garage with the latest diagnostics, shop tools & equipment.
- Company uniforms provided for comfortable work attire.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and tune-ups.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles to identify faults and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components, including brakes, steering systems, suspension parts, engine and transmission.
- Perform wheel alignments and other preventative maintenance services.
- Accurately document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work completed.
- Collaborate with service advisors and communicate repair needs, recommendations, and completion timelines.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment to ensure they remain safe and operational.
- Adhere to all workplace safety standards and keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient.
Qualifications:
- Own basic tools and equipment
- Previous experience as a mechanic or apprentice
- Knowledge of shop diagnostic and repair manuals/equipment
- Strong reading, writing, computer proficiency, and math skills
- Professional demeanour and positive work attitude
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
