We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute infrastructure projects across southern Manitoba. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and closeout of civil construction projects (earthworks, water/sewer, roadwork, etc.)
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and material/resource planning
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Conduct site visits, progress reviews, and quality/safety inspections
- Lead project meetings, track deliverables, and ensure work meets specs and timelines
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and documentation for compliance and reporting
- Identify and resolve challenges proactively to maintain workflow and client satisfaction
- Foster a positive, safety-first culture on all project sites
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of underground utility work (water/sewer), excavation, and grading
- Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and control costs
- Solid understanding of Manitoba construction regulations, COR safety programs, and tendering processes
- Proficient in project management software (Heavy Job, Excel, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with municipal infrastructure, rural utility projects, or landfill sites (asset)
- Familiarity with HeavyBid or other estimating platforms (asset)
