Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated a Farsi Speaker Appliance Technician Helper to assist experienced technicians in repairing and maintaining household appliances. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in appliance repair, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. Duties
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing various household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, and ovens.
- Support technicians in disassembling and assembling appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Help troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs performed and parts used.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing updates on repair progress and answering basic questions about appliance functions.
- Follow safety guidelines related to electrical systems, HVAC components, and mechanical parts during all tasks.
Requirements
- Must be a Farsi speaker
- Minimum English level: Intermediate or better
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different repair scenarios.
- Ability to work safely around electrical components, mechanical parts, and other hazards.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
- Prior experience in appliance repair or related trades is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to grow their technical expertise.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
