The Opportunity
We're hiring a 2nd year plumbing apprentice to work directly alongside our journeyman plumber on residential and commercial service calls across York Region and the GTA. This is a hands-on role from day one. You'll be in the field doing real work and logging real hours toward your Certificate of Qualification.
Because you'll be working 1:1 with a licensed journeyman every day, your apprenticeship hours accumulate consistently. If you're somewhere with inconsistent hours or limited mentorship, this is a meaningful change.
What We're Looking For
- Currently registered as a 2nd year plumbing apprentice (306A) with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Prior service plumbing experience is a must — drain calls, fixture installs, hot water tanks, you're not starting from zero
- Located within 30 minutes of Stouffville, ON
- Comfortable with on-call rotation — in service plumbing, that's part of the job
- Takes ownership on a job site and can work in both residential and commercial settings
- Comfortable dealing with clients directly
What You'll Do
- Residential and commercial service calls alongside our journeyman across York Region and the GTA
- Fixture installation, drain work, hot water tanks, and general repairs
- Rotating on-call coverage
- Assist with new installs as we grow
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and professional
- Occasionally assist with septic work in the field
