At Baxter Healthcare Corporation, we focus on providing outstanding healthcare solutions through strong teamwork and innovative technology. As a Powder Operator on the day shift, you will lead our production process and ensure our products meet strict quality and safety standards. This role combines precision, responsibility, and the happiness of supporting life-saving products.

Verify that the accurate chemicals are used in the production process.

Weigh out chemicals into containers ranging from 4g to 10kg as directed by the router.

Label products accurately and maintain detailed documentation for the process.

Perform quality assurance checks per SOPs to achieve flawless product quality by applying Electronic Batch Records (EBR).

Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records of absenteeism, hours, and vacation for the department using Kronos/JDEdwards.

Empty bags of chemicals into the overhead dispensing hopper.

Adjust equipment as needed to dispense the required amounts of chemicals.

Perform tests to verify product acceptability and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Clean and set up dispensing and sealing equipment and perform all startup cleaning and checks.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Ontario Grade 12 Equivalency program.

Alternatively, a combination of job-specific knowledge, training, and experience is required

Pay Transparency Language:
We understand that compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a pay rate of $28.45 an hour. You may also be entitled to a shift premium for all shift premium eligible hours which will be included in your bi-weekly pay. Shift premium pay is subject to change and is at the sole discretion of the Company.
