International Strategy Director Position Overview
Transnova Group Inc. is seeking a highly accomplished and globally experienced International Strategy Director to lead the company's international growth, government relations, and strategic engagement initiatives. This executive-level position will be responsible for advancing Transnova's global presence, developing high-level partnerships, supporting international business development, and fostering relationships with government agencies, diplomatic missions, development institutions, and private-sector stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive international travel experience, a strong understanding of global business environments, and proven expertise in government relations, international negotiations, and cross-border partnership development. This individual will serve as a key representative of Transnova Group in engagements with public and private sector leaders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporation's international strategy to support growth across agriculture, technology, infrastructure, project financing, trade, and sustainable development sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, ministries, regulatory agencies, diplomatic missions, and international organizations.
- Represent Transnova Group at international conferences, trade missions, investment forums, diplomatic engagements, and high-level stakeholder meetings.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships that support the company's business objectives and international expansion plans.
- Provide geopolitical, economic, and regulatory intelligence to guide executive decision-making.
- Facilitate government engagement and stakeholder alignment for projects requiring public-sector cooperation and approvals.
- Support business development efforts by creating opportunities with governments, investors, development agencies, and multinational organizations.
- Lead market entry assessments and international expansion initiatives in emerging and established markets.
- Coordinate with executive leadership on international negotiations, strategic alliances, and partnership agreements.
- Promote Transnova Group's corporate interests while maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers globally.
- Advise leadership on international trends, policy developments, and opportunities that may impact the company's strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in international affairs, government relations, diplomacy, international business development, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience working with government institutions, diplomatic missions, international organizations, or multinational corporations.
- Extensive international travel experience with a strong understanding of cross-cultural business environments.
- Established network of government, diplomatic, development, or business contacts is considered a significant asset.
- Proven ability to engage senior government officials, policymakers, investors, and business leaders.
- Strong understanding of international trade, investment promotion, and economic development.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to represent the company professionally in high-level domestic and international engagements.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working across Africa, North America, Europe, the Middle East, or other emerging markets.
- Knowledge of international project financing, development finance, or public-private partnerships.
- Multilingual capabilities are an asset.

Pay: $82,112.33-$230,806.91 per year
