Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a minimum of three years’ experience as a machinist.

Skills/Abilities include:
· Ability to monitor and execute multiple tasks in parallel
· Must be proficient with interpreting drawings and GD & T for machining
· Proven track record of solving complex machining problems
· Able to communicate issues and instructions clearly, efficiently and in a constructive manner
· Solid understanding of CNC programming
· Able to set up machine for a variety of jobs
Responsibilities include:
· Machining various types of steel, stainless steel and aluminum weldments to both customer and internal drawings.
· Detailed inspection and verification to customer requirements
· Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments
· Plan and execute work for efficient use of time, equipment and resources
Experience with:
· CNC Machines, Horizontal boring mills, Lathes
· Overhead cranes, forklifts
· Experience with machining products for Nuclear, Oil & Gas or Naval would be an asset
