Job Description:
The Order Picker/ Material Handler is a fast-paced job that requires a highly motivated individual that provides a critical roles within the organization. The selected individual must also feed and remove the production lines of both raw and finished goods in a safe and efficient manner. Further, the employee must pick orders for the following days shipping and receiving.
Required Skill Set:
Ø Advanced Windows computer skills, Knowledge of Word and Excel
Ø History of safe driving
Ø High level of oral and written communication
Ø Excellent Math skills
Ø Excellent Organizational skills
Ø Reliable, responsible, self-directed.
Ø Problem Solving
Hours of Work:
Ø Straight midnight shift 11pm to 7am
Ø Overtime will be required as truck schedules demand.
Ø Volunteering for Weekend Overtime in the production is also desirable.
DUTIES :
·Pick orders accurately and build skids for most effective shipping costs yet keeping product quality and customer requirements at the forefront.
· Providing materials to the lines as directed by the schedule, production operators and the supervisors. Remove materials from the lines as directed by the schedule, production operators and the supervisors. Preplan materials required on the floor for the morning shift so that there is no need for immediately response to production requirements on line when day shift arrives.
· Put excess stock into racks or rows in an organized fashion. Organize warehouse for optimum flow.
· Load and unload trucks efficiently.
· Cycle Count Inventory, investigate discrepancies and report findings to management
· Receive materials and other deliveries accurately. Label all raw materials correctly, and then organize raw materials received into appropriate rows in the warehouse.
· General housekeeping throughout the plant, including yarn, master batch, core areas, docks, main raw warehouse, packaging, finished goods areas.
· Complete all transactions and movements of materials in ERP System
· Help in production if required.
· Take Initiative.

Fork Lift License and driving experience required

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
