Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse industrial and construction sites, utilizing a broad range of electrical skills and tools.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and control panels.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently.
- Assist in renovation projects by upgrading or modifying existing electrical systems to meet current standards.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal operation of automated systems.
- Conduct inspections of electrical components to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or HVAC technicians during construction or renovation projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in construction electrical work.
- Experience working with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and power tools.
- Familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications.
- Hand tools proficiency along with handyman experience is preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations on job sites.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
