We’re looking for a Marketing, PR & Community Engagement Lead to elevate our public presence, strengthen community relationships, increase engagement, and help drive new client growth through powerful storytelling and strategic outreach.

What You’ll Do
Public Relations, Marketing & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute creative marketing and PR strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and community visibility
- Create and manage compelling social media content that reflects our values of compassion, trust, and connection
- Grow our online presence by increasing followers, engagement, reach, and audience interaction across platforms
- Create storytelling campaigns that highlight the impact of our caregivers, clients, and community involvement
- Identify opportunities for media exposure, partnerships, collaborations, and local brand recognition
- Track analytics, engagement, and campaign performance to continuously improve results
- Help drive new client inquiries and community awareness through strategic marketing initiatives
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
- Build strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, referral partners, and businesses
- Represent Luxcare as a warm, professional ambassador within the community
- Coordinate and attend networking events, outreach initiatives, and community events
- Strengthen relationships with families, clients, and stakeholders through meaningful engagement
- Seek opportunities to expand Luxcare’s visibility and reputation within the senior care space
Team Administration & Operations
- Support daily administrative operations to ensure smooth internal workflows
- Coordinate scheduling and internal communication across the care team
- Support onboarding for new employees and clients, including documentation and orientation materials
- Maintain organized systems, reports, and internal processes
- Provide professional, timely support to clients, families, and staff
- Assist with office coordination and administrative needs
Who You Are
- A confident communicator who naturally builds relationships both online and in person
- Experienced in community engagement, networking, PR, or brand representation. You already have connections in Victoria, BC, and are excited to blend these relationships with Luxcare
- Passionate about growing a brand through authentic connection and strategic marketing
- Creative, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Comfortable balancing strategy, content creation, relationship-building, and administrative leadership
- Calm, solutions-focused, and dependable under pressure
- Culturally aware, respectful, and comfortable working with diverse individuals
- Comfortable in a collaborative, open office setting
- Comfortable around dogs (they’re part of our workplace!)
Experience & Skills
- Experience in marketing, public relations, social media management, community outreach, and/or administrative leadership
- Proven ability to grow social media engagement and brand visibility
- Strong understanding of content creation, audience engagement, and digital marketing strategies
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in healthcare, senior care, or community-based organizations is an asset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team

Job Type
This role will begin as a part-time position, Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’re looking for someone excited to grow this role into a full-time position within a short timeframe as Luxcare continues to expand.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
